Goods on consignment


Goods sent to an agent for sale. The agent has possession but not title, though he may be able to give a good title to a bona fide purchaser, even when acting outside his authority. The goods are ususilly returnable by the agent. who works for a commission. The venture is normally made for a limited period only.
