Light dues


Levies payable by ships as conributions to the maintenance of lights. beacons, buoys or other navigational aids in rivers or roads. The dues are paid to Trinity House, through Her Majesty's Customs and Excise. The shipowner pays them on the basis of ten home trade voyages, eight foreign ones, or a combination of each.
