Contract, ambiguity in
 

 

Where a contract is in writing, or needs to be evidenced in writing, and there is ambiguity, the court C may allow oral evidence to determine the intentions of the parties. In oral contracts mbiguity is more likely to arise from mistake or misrepresentation.
